For nearly 200 years, Baltimore Gas & Electric has been meeting the energy needs of Central Maryland. BG&E serves more than 1.2 million business and residential electric customers and more than 630,000 gas customers in an economically diverse, 2,300-square-mile area encompassing Baltimore City and all or part of 10 Central Maryland counties. TEC has a Master Service Agreement (MSA) to provide on-call service and testing for BG&E's fueling facilities across metropolitan area. Typical calls include fuel management system (FuelForce) hardware and software support, dispenser and pump troubleshooting, compliance upgrades, tank tightness testing, and secondary containment hydrostatic testing. |

It is the nation’s largest supplier of competitive electricity to large commercial and industrial customers, and a regulated distributor of electricity and natural gas in Central Maryland. T.J. Fannon and Sons, Inc. (Fannon) is a petroleum distributor in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area. TEC prepared an Environmental Management Plan to demonstrate compliance with local environmental regulations. The Plan was developed for submittal to the local government entity as well as for use in a community meeting, which contained details of proposed development as well as guidance for facility operation to ensure continued compliance of operations. The plan addressed a full range of environmental concerns including waste management, lighting, spill prevention, control and countermeasures, noise and dust control, erosion and sedimentation control including storm water management, and proper operation and maintenance of petroleum storage and dispensing equipment. |
